What is the Turn the Lights Off AI trend?
The Turn the Lights Off trend is a short club dance clip: someone sways with their eyes closed on a packed, blue-lit dance floor, raises both arms, and the camera drifts back into the crowd. People post it after a caption about a small win or a rough day. It is also searched as a lost-in-the-club dance or the Turn the Lights Off dance.
The format took off in late 2025. On December 9, 2025, @rare_gemz posted one of the most watched versions. Creators later put their own face into the same club beat with AI. Turn the Lights Off AI makes that video from one photo of you.

Where does the Turn the Lights Off trend come from?
It started as a club dance meme in late 2025. People cut an eyes-closed dance on a packed floor after a caption about a win or a rough day. One of the most watched posts was shared by @rare_gemz on December 9, 2025, and AI remakes followed.
Turn the Lights Off AI vs a general AI video generator: which should I use?
Use Turn the Lights Off AI if you want this club dance video itself. The blue light, the crowd and the eyes-closed moves are already set up, so you upload a photo and there is no prompt to write. What kind of photo should I use?
A sharp chest-up or waist-up photo of just you, one adult, face clearly visible and good light. Avoid sunglasses, hats that hide the face, or beauty filters that change your features.
Can I post my Turn the Lights Off video on TikTok?
