What is the 24K Magic AI trend?
The 24K Magic AI trend is a short dance video: one person dances to "24K Magic" on the deck of a cruise ship, as if they had the whole ship to themselves. It is made with AI, so the dancer can be anyone, including you.
It started with a scene from the animated film Hotel Transylvania 3, where Dracula dances to the song on a cruise ship deck. A clip of that scene went viral on TikTok in October 2026. On October 12, 2026, @theraguler posted a realistic AI version, with a real-looking person dancing the routine on a real cruise ship, and it took off too.
Since then people have been putting themselves into the 24K Magic dance. 24K Magic AI makes that cruise ship dance video from one photo of you.
24K Magic dance: the same trend under other names
Some people search for the 24K Magic dance, others for the cruise ship dance trend or the 24K Magic TikTok dance. They all mean the same video: one person, a cruise ship deck and the 24K Magic routine.
So a 24K Magic AI dance video, a cruise ship dance video and a 24K Magic TikTok dance are one and the same, and 24K Magic AI makes it from one photo of you.
24K Magic dance
The name of the routine itself, used when people look for the video or want to do it themselves.

Cruise ship dance trend: what happens in the video
Every cruise ship dance video follows the same idea. Your face comes from the photo you upload.
Out on the deck
The video is set on the open deck of a cruise ship, with plenty of room to dance.
You do the 24K Magic dance
You dance the routine across the deck, still looking like yourself from the photo.
All the confidence
Big moves, no shyness: the fun is how much you are enjoying yourself.
How to make a 24K Magic AI dance video
No app, no editing, no dance lessons and no prompt to write. 24K Magic AI works in your browser in four steps.
Upload one photo
Upload a photo of just you, one adult, with your face clearly visible. A selfie or a photo a friend took both work.
Confirm who is in it
Tick the box to confirm the photo shows you, or an adult who has agreed to be in the video. Photos of anyone under 18 are not allowed.
Press the button
24K Magic AI puts you on the deck of a cruise ship and gets you dancing.
Download and post
Save the video to your phone and post it to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or your group chat.
AI dance video from a photo: which photos work best
The dance comes from the trend and your look comes from your photo, so a clear photo helps you still look like yourself on the deck.
Just you in the photo
Upload a photo of just you, one adult, on your own in the frame.
Face clearly visible
Look toward the camera with your face uncovered: no sunglasses, masks or hands in the way.
Full body if you have it
A photo from head to toe, or at least down to the waist, helps the dance look natural.
Clear light, real photo
Use good light, skip heavy filters and stickers, and pick the original photo from your camera roll rather than a screenshot.

24K Magic AI FAQ
What is 24K Magic AI?
24K Magic AI is an online AI dance video maker: you upload one photo of yourself, and it makes the viral 24K Magic video where you dance on the deck of a cruise ship.
Where does the 24K Magic dance trend come from?
It comes from a scene in the animated film Hotel Transylvania 3, where Dracula dances to "24K Magic" on a cruise ship deck. A clip of the scene went viral on TikTok in October 2026, and on October 12, 2026 a realistic AI version by @theraguler took off, with a real-looking person dancing the routine on a cruise ship.
Do I need to know the dance or be on a cruise ship?
No. You do not have to dance, film anything or go anywhere. The cruise ship deck and the dance are made by AI from a single photo of you.
24K Magic AI vs a general AI video generator: which should I use?
Use 24K Magic AI if you want the 24K Magic dance video itself. The cruise ship deck and the dance are already set up for this trend, so you upload one photo and there is no prompt to write or motion to tune. Use a general AI video generator if you want a different scene or your own story. You get more control, but you write the prompt yourself and usually need several tries to get a whole dance routine to look right. Each 24K Magic video uses 15 credits, and credits are returned if a generation fails.
What kind of photo should I use?
A photo of just you, one adult, with your face clearly visible and good light. A full-body photo works best, and the original from your camera roll is better than a screenshot.
Can I make a 24K Magic video of a friend?
Yes, if your friend is an adult and has agreed to it. Photos of children are not allowed, and neither are photos of anyone who has not given permission.
Do I need an app to make a 24K Magic AI video?
No. 24K Magic AI works in the web browser on your phone or computer: upload your photo, press the button and download your video.
Can I post my 24K Magic video on TikTok?
Yes. Download it and post it to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Add #24kmagic so people who follow the trend can find it.
